Drink Different

At Shirah Wine Co., we craft exceptional and distinctive kosher wines using unique varietals and grapes from top Californian vineyards. Sourcing from renowned estates, we highlight rare grapes like bold Central Coast Syrah and elegant Grenache from boutique sites. This blend of distinct terroirs and artisanal techniques creates wines rich in character and quality. Each bottle tells a story of land and craftsmanship, offering the finest kosher wine experience. Discover some of our newest favorites:

2025 Rosé

The palate offers light strawberry, cherry, and subtle raspberry framed by citrus-driven freshness.

2023 Coalition

The nose is expressive and layered, opening with spice-driven aromatics from the Mencía alongside vibrant red and purple fruit tones.

2025 Vintage Whites

The profile leans toward tropical and stone fruit, with layered aromatics that continue to evolve as the wine warms slightly in the glass.

We’re a little obsessed with making wines that stand out. We chase incredible grapes from some of California’s best vineyards—sometimes the big names, sometimes the secret spots you’d never find on your own. One bottle might showcase a bold Syrah from the Central Coast, another an elegant Grenache from a tiny hillside plot—each bringing its own personality to the glass. We keep our process hands-on and artisanal because, for us, every bottle should feel like a story worth sharing—about the land, the grapes, and the people who make it all possible.

The story of Shirah Wine. How it all began.

Humble Beginnings

Shirah Wine began when Gabriel Weiss began working as a cellar boy in the kosher wine industry in 2001, leading him to California. He partnered with a buddy to make their first wine on the side. This inspired him to keep making wines, and was soon joined by Shimon Weiss (his younger brother) on the west coast…
