The relatively perfect growing conditions produce Syrah that expresses all of it’s wild complex notes but enveloped by fruit notes that convey ripeness. This vintage is no exception, ripe blackberry and blueberry notes abound yet very extrovert complexity is here too. This wine is the full package regardless of price.

Nose: roasty bacon-like note, sarsparilla, game, classy blackberry, vanilla bean, sage, olive, hint of blood orange, gin botanicals
Mouth: dense, good acidity, mouthcoating chalky tannin, hint of pepper, blackberry, blueberry, charcuterie
Decant for: An hour of decanting will allow this wine to open up nicely.
Pair with: charcoal grilled steak and veggies
