2019 The Vintage Whites:

Region: Central Coast, CA

A classic Vintage Whites with loads of personality. This vintage really expresses a lot of ester based notes and apple/pear character, with the Viognier being very subtle. In past vintages the Viognier would bring tremendous peach/apricot toward litchi notes and a very fat, rich texture. This vintage is more medium bodied with great acidity. This is a very versatile white and would be especially great on a hot summer day.

Color: light straw
Nose: very floral nose, ripe pear. Hint of Stockinger
Mouth: great acidity. Sweet glycerol. Loads of pear, banana/esters. hint of peach, melon, papaya. At warmer temperatures, peach cobbler and vanillin notes emerge
