2019 Rosé:

Varietals: Grenache, Cinsault, Nebbiolo, Aglianico, Graciano, Cabernet Franc

Vineyards: Luna Matta, Siletto, White Hawk Road, Brave and Maiden

Region: Central Coast AVA

Still based on Grenache yet lighter and more austere than in past vintages, our ‘19 rose is perfect for a hot summer day. It finishes dry with beautiful fruit and floral notes.

Date Tasted: April, 2020

Color: pale pink

Nose: mineral, Luna Matta terroir, tangerine zest, tangy fresh strawberries, Key lime, Cab Franc flint and apple.

Mouth: Vanillin, reductive, bay leaf, mint, bruised apple and fresh apple. Tart plum, star fruit, sculpting clay. Ends fresh and dry with racy acid.

• Enjoy with fried fish tacos, the acidity and freshness should be a great counter to the richness of the oily fish.
