Inspired by the Right Bank of Bordeaux, where Merlot and Cabernet Franc play the dominant role. Merlot’s gentler, red fruit and Cabernet Franc’s distinct earthy Bordelaise notes work perfectly together to produce a wine that is hedonistic, rich and enjoyable with less assertive tannins than Cabernet Sauvignon based wines tend to have. 2019 was an almost perfect growing season in California and this wine expresses that with Califonian opulence and fruit combined with Bordelaise varietal typicity.

Decant for: An hour of decanting will allow this wine to open up nicely.
Pair with: Best enjoyed with a medium rare roast beef, rack of lamb.
