Black and Blue returns for the first time since the original 2014 vintage. Cool climate Syrah’s juicy dark fruit and spice and warmer El Pomar Syrah’s  jammy fruit and sun cured olive and raw meat notes are paired with a small proportion of cool climate Petite Sirah for more structure, blue fruit notes and earthiness.

Color: Dark magenta

Nose: Dark fruit, raspberry paste, floral, pungent, savory sagebrush, raw meat, peppery spice, roasty coffee

Mouth: Full bodied, integrated firm tannin, extracted, fruit forward, ripe dragon fruit/watermelon sun cured olives, incense, subtle baking spices.

• An hour or two of decanting will allow this wine to open up nicely.
• Best enjoyed with burata, smoked ribs, fatty steak with gremolata, a big juicy burger
• Drink now through 2032
