This stunning Pinot Noir comes from two of the most famous Pinot Noir vineyards in the New World: Sanford&Benedict and La Rinconanda, both from the Sta Rita Hills. This is easily one of the best Pinots we have made showing the light, ethereal quality of this variety with a very Burgundian fruit profile. There is a level of nuance and detail here that makes Pinot Noir such a revered variety. The wine has a great, mineral, fluid mouthfeel and crisp, refreshing tannin.

Nose: Classic fresh red fruit; cherry, pomegranate, plum and raspberry, with hints of cut stone fruit,and slight sweet vanilla. High toned floral and herbal notes of rose petal, orange blossom, sage, and juniper/gin botanicals.
Mouth: Slightly darker notes of candied red fruit and black cherry. With hints of toasted coriander, garrigue and a slight woodiness on the finish. A great medium + tannin/acid profile makes this a fluid and refreshing wine.
