Some of the most notable Riesling in California is grown in Santa Barbara County. Our Riesling was picked ripe but with low sugar and very high acidity. Crushed and macerated for 24 hours before pressing resulted in extracting more flavor and phenolics from the skins. Fermented in stainless steel and terra cotta, some native and some inoculated. Fermented to dryness. A very racy Riesling but with prominent clean fruit. Super refreshing.

Nose: Musky, exotic, orange blossom honey, wet clay, pina colada, cream soda(!)
Mouth: Glassy acidity, tart and tannic apple/quince, more musky tropical fruit notes. Remarkable balance and acidity. Just delicious.
